Digestion and Metabolism
Digestion and metabolism. Your metabolism is the key component to
a healthy digestive system. Your metabolism is your body’s engine.
During the day your metabolism provides you with the necessary
energy to get through the day and perform you daily functions. If
your metabolism is low, you feel tired and listless. During the
night when you’re asleep, your metabolism is working replacing the
cells that were used during the day.
Your metabolism is a big factor in burning calories. No matter
how you look at it, losing weight is determined by calories consumed
to calories burned. Burning the appropriate amount of calories to
lose your desired weight is the end result.
A simple tip to “rev up” your metabolism
If you have water and ice you then you have everything you need
to start burning off fat right now effortlessly. Drinking ice water
will kick start your metabolism. Your body will generate energy
(which activates your metabolism) to warm the cold water, so go to
your refrigerator and fill your glass with ice and cold water, and
begin sipping it, don’t gulp all down, sip it slowly.
Your body is spending extra energy to warm up the ice-cold water
inside your body. So drink 6-8 glasses a day.
Energy loss. Your digestion and metabolism is
compromised when you combine and eat the wrong foods together. It
forces the body to spend all of its energy on the digestion and
elimination of these foods. That’s why you feel tired and you’re
ready for a nap after a meal. Your body doesn’t have any energy left
to eliminate the toxins from your digestive system.
If your body can’t digest the meal you just consumed then it will
remain until it complete the job. It may be hours later before it
will complete the digestion process.
If we continue to eat too much of the wrong foods the proper
digestion process gets compromised more and more and eventually
weight gain comes faster and faster. Weight loss is detoxification
and is entirely dependent upon metabolism and energy. The Great Taste No Pain program shows you how to
combine the right foods to maximize your body's metabolism.
